You see it every time there is a football tournament on. In every pub, at every family event, there are people out there who know exactly how they can coach a team to victory in every shop. Well, it won’t surprise you to hear that the internet is no different.

During a long-awaited summer of non-stop football action, it can be incredibly busy keeping up with everything that’s going on. As such, podcasts can be a very effective way to get all of the details delivered right to you. However, like in the pub, many podcast hosts are merely spewing their version of what needs to happen for certain teams to win. So, which should you be listening to?

Quickly Kevin – Will He Score?

This podcast hosted by Josh Widdicombe, Chris Scull, and Michael Marden is usually embedded with nostalgia. Only recently did they announce to listeners, “yes, for one month only Quickly Kevin is going topical!!! We’re only going to cover the Euro’s with a bloody great bonanza of inimitable Quickly Kevin content.”

Releasing episodes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, this is not the podcast for you if you are hoping for a detailed breakdown of every game. Instead, with Quickly Kevin, you can expect a blend of nonsense and triviality that will keep you entertained for hours.

Guardian Football Weekly

Even though they initially started doing this podcast over 15 years ago, Guardian Football Weekly remains one of the best football podcasts for you to listen to. Posting episodes every day, this podcast will be one of the very best available to you to keep up with all of your Euro’s information. It will be great for you to know about how teams are performing and injuries, which you can use to have better discussions with friends and can even assist with understanding the Euro 2020 betting odds published by sites such as Unibet.

Hosts Max Rushden and Barry Glendenning are joined by a variety of different guests to discuss everything football. Previous guests include the likes of Barney Ronay, Mark Langdon, Flo Lloyd-Hughes, Lars Sivertsen, Jacob Steinberg, John Brewin, Paul MacInnes, and Jonathan Liew.

Total Soccer Show

This is the only podcast from the US to be included on this list. It is a constant reminder that the perception that American’s don’t know what they’re talking about when it comes to football couldn’t be more wrong.

Unfortunately, the show lost its co-host Daryl Grove in October 2020, but Taylor Rockwell, Joe Lowery, Ryan Bailey, and Graham Ruthven have managed to keep the podcast going and delivering exceptional content on all things football.

The ITV Football Show

If you want a podcast with a stellar list of guests, then this is the one for you. Hosts Mark Pougatch and Andros Townsend have been joined by some very famous names in the years they’ve been doing this podcast, including Kyle Walker, Michail Antonio, Harry Kane, and Tyrone Mings.

Given ITV have recently lost nearly all of their footballing rights, they are putting a lot more energy into this podcast, so you can expect even more guests to join that line-up.
