There might not be any Six Nations action to get stuck into this weekend, but our National Clubs have plenty going on….

National One

Caldy RUFC

Caldy are looking for players to join their women’s side. Training on Monday night, players of any ability are invited down to Caldy to get involved!

Darlington Mowden Park

Darlington Mowden Park have teamed up with SG Petch to put on two charity bike rides in aid of the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. Each ride will start and finish at the Darlington Arena, with the distances being 50km and 100km. The event will be called Roland’s Ride in honour of organiser Peter Rees’ close friend, who also suffers from Motor Neurone Disease.

Sale FC

There will be an exciting double header at CorpAcq Stadium this Saturday as Sale take on Birmingham Moseley, shortly followed by  Sale 1861 Ladies’ game against Stiriling County Women. Pre-match meals are available, with tickets starting at £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and U16s go for free.

National 2 North

Fylde RUFC

Former Fylde man, Kieran Brookes, posted a throwback photo to his time on the Blackpool coast. In the photo you see Brookes with former Newcastle Falcons teammate, Mark Wilson, as the flanker continues to impress for England.

Macclesfield RUFC

Macclesfield are looking for a second team physio to join the club in a part time capacity. The role is perfect for a physio who wants to gain good experience in a semi-professional environment.

Sheffield Tigers

Sheffield Tigers have confirmed that Robin Hislop and Jamie Broadley will remain as head coaches next season. The young pair have impressed so far at the helm of the Yorkshire side, with Hislop performing his role alongside playing for the Doncaster Knights.

Huddersfield RUFC

Like Sheffield Tigers, Huddersfield have also announced their head coach Gareth Lewis has signed a new deal with the club. Lewis has extended his contract for another two years at Lockwood Park with Field currently battling for promotion in National Two North.

National Two South

Dings Crusaders RFC

Dings Crusaders Girls U18s coach, Lucie Skuse, made her England Women’s U20s debut against the Army U20s in Aldershot last Saturday. Winning the game 33-5, Skuse came off the bench in the second half to contribute to the effort.

Old Albanian

Before Old Albanian’s game against Worthing Raiders this weekend, it will be the Club President’s Lunch to celebrate every sport that the club encompasses. Starting at 1pm, there will be a three course meal for just £20. This should be a fantastic way for the club to celebrate itself.

Tonbridge Juddians RFC

On the 20th and 21st of February, there will be a half term rugby camp at Tonbridge Juddians for ages 5-14. At £60 for the two days, attendees will develop their core rugby skills, with an emphasis on having fun. Many of Tonbridge’s players and coaches will be in attendance.
