Following the rearrangement of matches that were postponed just before Christmas, National League Rugby is delighted to confirm we will be ‘relaunching’ our plans to live stream Rams RFC v Chinnor.
This local derby in National One takes place on Friday night (kick-off 19:45) at Old Bath Road and will be live-streamed by NextGenXV, one of the leaders in the industry.
The production will also be powered by the team at Talking Rugby Union who continue to provide unrivalled coverage of levels three and four.
The live stream will be available to watch on ncarugby.com for FREE. Keep your eyes peeled across our social media channels for more information.
In the 2021-22 season, we also live-streamed this fixture. On that occasion, Rams won 38-22 with skipper Robbie Stapley scoring a hat-trick in front of a packed crowd. The match also received nearly 7,000 views on YouTube so we are expecting more of the same considering where both teams find themselves in the National One standings.
Last weekend, Rams RFC moved to the summit of the third tier following their victory over Darlington Mowden Park and they could strengthen their title bid with a win against their neighbours under the Friday night lights.
However, Chinnor will arrive in Berkshire in high spirits having won three of their first four games under the guidance of new Director of Rugby Nick Easter.
The former England international has helped the Black and Whites move 10 points clear of the relegation zone thanks to victories over Rosslyn Park, Birmingham Moseley and Bishop’s Stortford, respectively.
It is set to be another fascinating few days of rugby and while it may conclude at Twickenham on Sunday with England hosting Italy in the Six Nations, why not begin your weekend with National League Rugby.
Many thanks to Rams RFC, Rams CEO Gary Reynolds, Chinnor, NextGenXV and Talking Rugby Union for their support.
