The decision means one of Taunton Titans or Esher will join Hull and Leeds Tykes in National Two next season with just one point separating the two sides heading into the final day.

Taunton currently sit in the bottom three and host Leeds Tykes this weekend while Esher are at home to title-chasing Rams RFC.

As things stand, London Scottish are currently the Championship’s bottom club and face relegation rivals Richmond on Saturday.
